For browsers and compatible apps

A few simple steps to get started. You will need a working subscription or connection link from a compatible provider.
Use the Windows download button on this site. For this preview, we recommend Windows 11, 64-bit.
Right-click the ZIP file, select “Extract All”, and choose a permanent folder. Do not run the app from inside the archive.
Keep the folders and files beside the app. Everything needed to run it is included. If another version is open, disconnect and exit it first.
This release does not yet have a Windows publisher signature. If Windows or your antivirus blocks it, keep protection enabled and record the message.
Get the subscription link from your provider’s account page or support. Do not share this link publicly: it grants access to your subscription.
On the home screen, press + next to subscriptions. Use the clipboard option, or paste the link manually. Wait for the list of locations to load.
Each subscription keeps its own locations and favorites. Select the provider you want to use before choosing a location.
Select a location, or use automatic selection to compare connections within the selected subscription. Results depend on your network and the provider.
Wait for the connected status, then open a website. Press the same button to disconnect. A country name alone does not mean you are connected.

Routes device traffic through the connection, subject to your routing settings. Windows will ask for administrator permission. If another VPN is running, disconnect it first.
Use the star to keep frequently used locations close.
Use the refresh icon beside the provider. In settings, choose automatic updates: off, every hour, or every 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours.
Use the trash icon beside the provider and confirm. Its saved list and history are cleared; removing an active subscription disconnects it.
Leave the provider’s setting unless you need a specific resolver. If you enter your own DNS address, check it carefully and reconnect to apply the change.
Choose light, dark or system appearance in the app’s settings, along with your preferred language.
When enabled, this protection can keep direct internet access blocked after disconnecting. Turn it off explicitly when you want your ordinary connection back.
Check that the full link was copied, your subscription is active, and the provider’s site opens. Try refreshing later. For payment, expiry or access issues, contact the provider.
Refresh the subscription and try another location. A server can be unavailable even with a valid subscription. Check that another VPN is not active if you use TUN.
Open Lodnet and turn off Kill Switch if you enabled it. If administrator permission is required, restart the app with that permission. Then disconnect and check your usual network.
Open App support at the bottom of the app and save a diagnostic archive. Add your Windows version, app version, the time and steps that led to the problem. Review the file before sharing it through an agreed support channel. Never post your subscription link or keys.
